The Brush Oil portrait is achieved by subtle printing your image on to the canvas which is then stretched. The image serves as a sketch of the subject(s) giving the correct proportions to the artist. The oil paints are then applied in a more defined realistic fashion on the brush oil painting. The background included is an old masters blend of color background. Outdoor backgrounds, extensive indoor backgrounds or furniture are available for an additional 20% to 30% of the base price of the portrait. Each additional subject is 50% more and pets are 35% more.

Above is a composite panel painted in light oil. The photograph shows through on a light oil as the paint is transparent. Digital imaging is just part of our lives today so we embraced it to produce these lovely prints to which we can apply light oils to for outstanding results. Your portrait is subtle printed either on canvas or a smooth surface paper. It is then mounted either on a mount board or stretched canvas. We can work from your photographs with a release or do the photography for you.

12x20 with 4 images is $450

16x20 with 5 images is $550
